Hey there guys and gals,
Nothing much to report, just the same issue as mentioned on the last blog post first. I've refreshed it at least two dozen times since then, and it still islt netting me reply to things. On top of that it wont let me message anyone, so I cant get a hold of anyone other than posting a fresh post somehwere.
Blogs come up on the front page, so I guess this is a good a place as any...
I also tried logging out, which it decided it wouldnt let me do as well. I had to go to my Ning profile page and log out there, then come back to the site and refresh so it acknowledged I was gone and ask me to sign in. I refreshed it a few times while logged out for good measure, but that didnt help either and I still cant do anything, and the chat isnt working either.
Any other suggestions? .-.
*~*~*~*
It was my first nephew's Christening yesterday. I guess my brother decided to have the baby christened because it's tradition rather than because he's religious, unless some of his finacee's family had something to do with it, considering one set of the kid's godparents are heavily Christians, I believe.
Either way, Mum and dad dragged me to the affair. To be honest I didnt want to go. I'm not that fond of my brother and I'm not religious. I always feel a bit awkward being inside a church, especially during a religious ceremony, when I dont believe in any of it. It might have been rude not to turn up, but I feel just as rude sitting through the ceremony and not singing because I dont believe in any of it.
Anywho, back to the point.
They forgot to put me on the invitation, so I didnt want to go, but Mum put my name in the card (as well as the boyfriend's, he was as impressed as I was lol) and dragged us both an hour from home to go to the church.
I will give it to the vicar that he was a nice chap, even if he was a little cheesy. Either way we were all sat at the back and watching bro and his other half and the baby doing all the vows you do before the baby's christened. No one except my Mum from our row sang the hyms when they came about, and not to be rude, but I was glad to get out of there once the affair was over.
Then came the reception after. It wasn';t bad, but the venue they (as in, the fiancee's mum) chose was a little bit...shabby, and there was barely anything I could eat there since they forgot to tell their caterer (again, her mum) that I cant eat anything with butter or cheese, or pork for that matter. I ended up breaking my diet to eat the pizza, because it was either eat something I shouldnt or just live on crisps for the evening.
As Mum informed me that was my dinner, I had some pizza. Stomach now, but meh, it'll pass by tomorrow.
So yeah, not the most brilliant day x3 But I suppose it got me out of work for the day, even if i'd rather have been having a laugh at work. Everyone was happy at least, and I got to meet the fiancee's odd sister. She'd vegan and was once going to live in a hippy community, but decided she wanted to stay in a house. She has three kids, all of which arent allowed meat or cheese or butter or anything like that.
Odd girl, but I suppose it's her life.
Thats all from me lol. Sorry for the rant, but I honestly didnt enjoy any of that day.
Thanks for reading,
MillieKittan xx
