Welcome to the Secret Confessions thread. Beyond the pure anonymity of the internet, there lies a certain level of understanding behind all the accounts here on FF. The SC account carries burden of allowing the user to give a candid, private confession with (hopefully) understanding feedback. The SC thread is for other posters to give kind and/or helpful advice, words of empathy, or a secret of their own (under the SC name or not).
This account is a group account, and EVERYONE needs to treat it respectfully. By posting under the Secret Confessor, you are pledging to refrain from hate mail, "finger-pointing", insulting and being a jerkface. By posting in the SC thread, you are pledging to keep the comments respectful. This has not yet been a problem, but it's nice to have written down "just in case".
If you would like to use the SC account for ANY reason beside posting in this thread, please PM me- even if it's under the SC name (this is not to exert authority, but to maintain order over a very accessible account).
I think I already knew you weren't a huge tea fan. This confession made me laugh. "I like how it sounds with words like 'offers', 'pot', 'kettle', 'cup', 'lovely'."
Haha, it's cool. I only drink tea straight up if it's green and we're out having some sort of Asian food >.> Otherwise it's black and full of milk/cream and sugar. (And yet I drink black coffee like it's going out of style.)
I know a non-tea drink that's aces for sore throats, incidentally >.> D'you want the recipe?
Also, *offers tea* just seems so... inadequate sometimes, and I don't say it, but for me, when in doubt, have a cuppa. I think it's the only thing I get from my English family.
I can't do cream, it makes me gag... And I've never had milk in tea...
Nah, I like the orangey green tea that mom has with a bit of lemon juice and loads of honey, but that's not really tea anymore... I still enjoy it. And the lemon juice works well for my sore throats.
Yes, it's relaxing I suppose, but just strait tea, I can't do it. I normally have hot chocolate or iced tea.
OMG, ICED TEA IS FRIGGIN' AWESOME. Sweetened, of course. *Lives in the South* Mhm, pour on the sugar like there's no tomorrow.
I don't get why I keep making plans with my friends.
We get this idea, say we'll do it when I get back.
But the thing is I don't think I'll be going back. As of right now, I'm living in a hotel that's like a mini-apartment and we just did the laundry. Again.
It's like my mind refuses to accept that I can't even say good bye to my friends.
