I'm not sure quite what happened. I was already predisposed to like the scientists, so it was fairly easy for me to slowly slide into anti-dom.

newb-lurk. I feel this needs its own category because I lurked on MX for hours a day without posting for 2 weeks or so. And even then posting for me was rare for a good few months.

I lurked for a few weeks without posting too. But then when I started posting, I kept posting.

It took me like 2-3 weeks to make my first post. And even then I think it was on some unimportant thing about the site getting 100+ members. All my first posts were really 'I'm not really going to say anything here, so I no one can really argue with me' *shy* posts.
And then I went to debating randomly, but it took me ages to comment on anything MR related.

I joined just so I could reply to a thread (EOTE's "What if Max actually DID fall for Dylan"), so I posted as soon as I could. My first post defended Fang/Max against Dylan/Max. As far as I can see, it had correct grammar and spelling.

XD I do that with other sites, especially Ning sites, now.
I was still terribly shy going on MX. Now, I haven't near the problem of joining and arguing to hell and back with people over something the first day I've joined. :DDDD
