I kind of writing a paper on that right now. XD Except the person is saying that all illegal drugs should be made available for public use. 

 

And I just started playing Minecraft. My paper has just become infinitely more difficult to write. If I ever started WoW, my life outside of that would turn to shit.

WHY THE HELL IS MEDICAL MARIJUANA ILLEGAL

 

It's not, here in CO. I'd like someone to explain to me why marijuana is criminalized at all.

There's a concern that the addictive nature of it would prove problematic to people from a monetary standpoint. Even if you did cut the costs by making it legal, it wouldn't lower the costs to the person's health, productivity, and eventually their wallet again.

I think it depends on when it's being made. In serious wartime, I'd agree to the legalization of marajuana, but at the moment we're in the middle of an economic debacle, and in that case you need people alert, working, and spending.

I don't understand either, other than the fact that you get high faster on it. But otherwise, it has only healthy aspects. It's even been proven to help shrink cancer in the body. You know, nobody has ever died from marijuana...but people have died from aspirin.

 

Drinking? Sure! Just don't drive and do it, kay? Smoking? Sure! Go right ahead, even with your driving! Marijuana? HELL NO, DON'T YOU DARE USE A DRUG THAT HAS HEALTHY ASPECTS.

It's still smoking something, so it's not a hundred percent harmful. And some alcohols have beneficial effects -- red wine in moderation can be helpful to the heart.

 

(Also, someone who's drunk versus someone who's high -- the drunk may be violent and will drive all over the road, while the stoner will be more chill, maybe paranoid, hungry, and waiting for the stop sign to turn green.)

 

That does make me wonder -- perhaps the stigma about weed is because it was brought here by low-class immigrants, and alcohol came over with the English colonists. Could bear investigation.
