Nothing notably functional, personally I've only seen two little changes in the way things are organized... beyond that, not much that I can recal.
Still get 7. The organization thing helps reduce clutter when you have a lot of things open at once.

And.... no, but if you have the money and desire to upgrade anything, I'd suggest seeing if you could upgrade your processor. It'll run beautifully on that, but you can't go wrong kicking it up. That said, it's not necessary and it's expensive.
