XD So long as it's under 5pgs, or there's no limit but you kinda know it'll be 6-8 pages, the general opinion is that it can be done in one night. Which is beyond awesome if you're 3hrs away for basketball that night, and have to play in the JV/Varsity game. XD
Though, I don't see how one could just write a Greek myth. . .
If you need help though, I know someone who's practically obsessed with mythology, especially Greek. And don't even get her started on the Trojan War. :D
XD I can't do that for /everyone/. Names often escape me. :D Especially the spellings. x.x But their general role/relations. . . .well, I think even some of you are starting to learn those just from talking to me.
Random but I can never remember who Daedalus'' father is. Ever. I look it up and then forget.
Yes you can. Your magic with this stuff. The spellings are so very hard. >.> Especially when they have multiple spelling like Kronos. -Can never properly remember the relations- Roles not so much...
XD I use the other spelling when I'm thinking. I believe Kronos is the Roman spelling and Cronos, is, technically more correct. But. . .*uses both* It's like Heracules, and Hercules. Which is further where the names get confusing. (Heracules is Greek, btw, but no. . .no one knows that and they think it's a typo. )
EDIT - You know the Kane Chronicles come out May Fourth? *somewhat excited and totally dreading it*
No, see the Kane Chronicles are the new Egyptian books. And frankly, unless RR oddly knows Egyptian mythology better than Greek, I'm going to hate them. It seemed like in PJO the more research for myths he had to do the worse they got. (Exception being Calypso. I adored how he protrayed her. Granted, I loathe how Homer portrays her. . . ) The second PJO series comes out in Sept.
Edit - I found a series JUST like PJO, like even the titles are scary similar. Right now, it's everything, mythology-wise, PJO should've been. But the characters don't draw you in as much. However, when I first read PJO, I read over like 1/6 of the book. *has the habit to just read over aspects of the book I wouldn't like* XD
Oh I knew what the Kane Chronicles were I just wasn't sure about the release dates. ... I doubt it... Well the series as it progressed got worse and worse. Homer made Calyspo sound like the wicked witch of the west. Like she was the evilest thing in the existence of the world. -Didn't like that- Riordan's perception I liked better although I didn't like how he made Cronos the supreme assholes of all assholes.
OOOH. Link? I've re-read PJO so many times... -Still has it on her hard drive-
