[Edited Because I Fracking Can]

Welcome to the Secret Confessions thread. Beyond the pure anonymity of the internet, there lies a certain level of understanding behind all the accounts here on FF. The SC account carries burden of allowing the user to give a candid, private confession with (hopefully) understanding feedback. The SC thread is for other posters to give kind and/or helpful advice, words of empathy, or a secret of their own (under the SC name or not).

This account is a group account, and EVERYONE needs to treat it respectfully. By posting under the Secret Confessor, you are pledging to refrain from hate mail, "finger-pointing", insulting and being a jerkface. By posting in the SC thread, you are pledging to keep the comments respectful. This has not yet been a problem, but it's nice to have written down "just in case".

If you would like to use the SC account for ANY reason beside posting in this thread, please PM me- even if it's under the SC name (this is not to exert authority, but to maintain order over a very accessible account).

Thank you!

Or, you know, they could go to heaven. Which is, you know, heaven. But this is neither the time nor place for that discussion.
If they're committing suicide, wouldn't they be going to hell anyway?
Suicide sends you to Hell....?
It depends on how you believe people get to heaven. Catholics and... Jews, I think, would say so, but not most Christians.
Oh. I don't actually believe in anything of the sort, but I like that one view... I've no idea what religion it is, but there's a Heaven but no Hell?.
I've never heard of that one...
It's some tiny obscure sect of Christianity or something. I have no idea. I have a friend whose parents believe that, and it was just... nice. They took the 'God is forgiving' thing to a level that most people don't.
How could you take it to a level beyond typical Christianity? As in; the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life if you believe that Jesus Christ came and was the ultimate sacrifice for you to go to heaven despite all of your sins. Whoa. That was one really big sentence...
No, like, even if you don't believe in God/did something bad enough to get you sent to Hell, you'd still go to Heaven, because they believe that God wouldn't judge anyone just based on whether or not they believe.
Whoa... Wow.

For the record, most Christians don't believe you could ever do something bad enough to get sent to hell for it.
I still don't understand why this is so surprising. It makes sense to me. But, then it would because I'm atheist.

Oh. Sorry.
Jews don't have a concept of hell. Their system is that after you die (or sometimes even before) you go to Satan who brings to your attention what you've done wrong so that you know for later, then after that, you exist in a state of limbo waiting for the messiah to show up so everyone ever in history can come back at the same time and exist in a perfect, utopian state.
