Hi! I start college classes tomorrow. It's been a hectic move-in/welcome week, but it's been fun. (GermanSam is my roommate, if anyone was wondering.)

Oh yeah, my geometry teacher was telling us to go over to the campus and watch everyone move in haha. Stalker Status. :)

Enjoying it, quite a bit. Not excited to actually start class, but it'll be fine. And I'm switching up my schedule tomorrow, if I can. I have an appointment to find out if I can. How've you been? Enjoying high school?

High school's alright, still feels like it's summer though especially cause I was just at camp... But I'm reaally glad I switched to band, so far it's my favorite part of high school.

I want to drop a class that I really don't need and replace it with one that I do.

Yeah, I have class in two hours and it still feels like the weekend to me, so I understand. I loved band in elementary school, but I didn't keep up with it. Kinda wish I had, if mainly for the scholarship potential.

The scholarship potential sucks.  It adds loads of pressure in HS, even if you practice as you should or otherwise.  Esp. if you have a 'scholarship' instrument.  And even then most schools that actually give crap out will dish out 1-5k and the tuition will be 55k/year, or will only do in state/majors/something ridiculous.  I mean, I wasn't great, but I did have a scholarship instrument where you basically get the default 1k for sending in your name.  And all the scholarships I got offered added together for all four years, would just cover money I've spent on lessons/reeds/trips/contests and it continuing.  >.>

Ah. Well then, now I don't wish I'd kept it up.

But I should have played golf. So many full ride scholarships for that, because it's not a popular sport.
