Write your thesis "I think this novel is good because..." whatever, and then delete "I think this novel is good because". Works like a charm.

welp, I feel like I got hit by a bus
Good: not failing as many classes as I thought I was.
Bad: Mother put the fear of God into me so hard over that issue that for a while I was solidly convinced that killing myself would be an okay option.
Ugly: And I still haven't told my therapist about any of that.
