It's been a while, actually, for someone to die.
*laughs*
Most of those moves, anyway, have been long since illegal in the racing world, technology is advanced, and now there are loads more safetys on the car so it /can't/ get maximum performance, so the driver doesn't kill himself.

I know, but it's just funny to hear...or read.
*doesn't follow racing*
Well, that's good I suppose, but still... Acting vs Racing, you'd think he'd have picked acting. Maybe he wanted too much money or something.
I'm still not completely over Da Matta's injury. He almost died. In . . '05, I think it was, during practice, a deer came onto the track where you're going 180-200mph. They collided, and he in the end was paralyzed, and lost about 1/2 of his brain. *loves Da Matta* *still has his last ChampCar flyer from when he raced that*
He's been back to racing cars, though. Just bigger, less powerful ones.
True, true. But racing does bring in loads of cash. . . .

@ Lamp: My dad loved racing. My mom just liked to watch the explosions. XD
o.o See. There's why I wouldn't want to do it, and there are a lot of stupid/ deadly things I /would/ do.
XD That's how I got into it, on and off, actually.
*disagrees*
Racing = Win.

According to Wikipedia (and yes, being a werdie I totally looked him up on Wiki.) He wanted to try something new, he found acting wasn't really satisfying. So he took a break from it. Of course now, it's time for him to decide whether or not he wants to go back to acting.
He announced he wanted to be a racecar driving in 2004 and/or 2005. He said in five or so years he see whether or not he'd go back.
