Dee. My dad really isn't bad at all, in fact, I should stop saying "my parents," generally, I'm making him seem far worse than he is.

How long have they been together?

Almost exactly two years. She's been living with us, for... probably a year and a half, and when we bought this house a year ago, her name was on the lease as well as his.

Heh, my parents were dating since 7th grade, got married at 22. Look how that one turned out. XD
But, I rather think it's different when one of you is only 30, (think: were she my actual mother, she would've been 16 when I was born. I bring this up everytime my dad calls her a "responsible parent." Teen pregnancy = irresponsible.) and the other has kids who are old enough to comprehend what's going on. It used to be different, with my old stepmom, we always had a say....

Mine... haven't had a perfect marriage but I'm not sure such a thing exists. And they seem happy, most of the time, 23 years later.
I imagine children would change things an awful lot. And the age difference seems... unpleasant.
