(It's Christmas Eve here. But, we do all our celebrations on the Eve anyway, so it might as well be Christmas.)

Yeah, we do pretty much everything on Christmas Eve. Between 2 and 4 pm, we're going to my grandparents with my aunt/uncle/cousins to open presents, and then we're going to a party tonight. Nothing planned for tomorrow.

We do presents as soon as everyone wakes up (so of course, someone always sleeps in till like ten). And this year we're having lunch at our place from noon till whatever time they leave. Everyone's still working Christmas Eve.

My dad has to work both Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, which is why we're waiting till afternoon today. He's working extra on Christmas day, getting there at like 4am so the nightshift people can hurry home to their kids. So we have to work everything around different schedules.

That makes sense. Still, celebrating a day early is almost definitely a good thing.
