First /real/ tree. We also have a fake one, but it's old, missing branches and needing replacement. We thought it would appreciate another tree coming in to help it out this year.

Y'know, I actually haven't noticed it smelling like pine. Maybe it's some weird version that can actually grow in Australian Summer's that doesn't have a scent...
We're having a Christmas lunch thing at our place with mum's family, which is rather small, thankfully. -

It's nice. Although, usually Christmas weather is cold (-ish. For our Summer) and wet. It looks like it's going to be that way today.
Yes, I remember the weather forecast thing you posted. You get crazy cold weather. Not that I know it's any warmer than that now. -

I have to stay up till 12. No difficulty (Probably for anyone here), but that means I have to go around prodding the younger kids awake or they'll eat me alive for letting them miss the presents. Last year....[shudder]
