My mother cries... occasionally. But normally she doesn't use it as a way to make us do what she wants.

*ended up just pissed* *left the house for an hour or so*
My mom just yells at us, it's really effective.
*interrupts*
My mother cries...not all the time, but a fair amount. *sigh*
My mum doesn't yell. She does the whole disappointed, and I know you could do better, and... yeah. Loves the guilt trips.
*raises hand* I spend most of my time in a room that has no fuckin' door, but my computer technically isn't allowed to leave said room.

If I'm actually in my room, I'm either sleeping or it's really really late at night (4 or so) and I have to be in there.
*nods* My computer is allowed in my room, but internet isn't. Not that that ever stopped me *luffles wireless* Internetting out there is a great way to get awkward questions and not even subtle over the shoulder watching.
O.o Y'all have strange parents.

Or maybe it's mine that are weird...
Don't you have a few siblings, though? That could be part of it. When I lived with my mom, stepdad, brother, and two stepsisters, it was harder to keep track of everyone.
Yeah... We have an awful lot of kids in my house.

I've never lived with less than three.

We don't have those kinds of rules, basically it's, keep your music down, do your chores, and don't wake people up and you're good.

Violate one of those and it's doomsday.
That's really nice.

Even when I lived with all four kids, it was stricter, but eh. Living with my dad was always great until Dee came along, it was just the three of us, and everything was really nice.
There's a reason why I've become nocturnal.

It's the only time the house is ever quiet.

Dee always sounds so lovable.
I have to sneak to be nocturnal, and even then, uh, Dee works nightshift. >.< So when she's home, she's usually up. I have a very strict 11pm bedtime, 12 on weekends.

She is. She's like a teddy bear. A life-sized grizzly-bear type teddy bear with rabies.
