He died.
...So?
There was a sequel?
...Half of what I say is bullshit. Two thirds of the remaining half is fact. The rest is all me venting my depression and inflicting it on the rest of you.
Depends on the scenario. Cell by King was awesome. Gathering Blue by Lowry made me want to gouge my eyes out.
Okay.

Opened Catcher in The Rye.

Read to the second page.

First word that popped into my head?

Chagrin.

Shut the book and didn't read anymore.
'Cause of Meyer ruined the word? Go on, read at least ten pages before you give up. (And even if you do, try reading Salinger's short stories, they're not nearly as annoying as Holden's nattering on.)
Fine.

Maybe tomorrow.

Possibly.
Here's one of my favorites -- A Perfect Day For Bananafish.
XD

Bananafish. :DD
Catcher is actually a pretty good (If depressing) book.

And it can actually say chagrin without making people kill themselves.
Nah, it makes people kill other people.

From the least reliable source on Earth:
"Mark David Chapman's shooting of John Lennon (Chapman was arrested with a copy of the book), John Hinckley, Jr.'s assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan, Robert John Bardo's shooting of Rebecca Schaeffer and other murders have also been associated with the novel."
