Uh.... I don't know how it works for you, but our teacher's often give their political opinion, and then we can debate it and offer ours. Which is fun, because /generally/ teachers will be Labor, while, students at our school tend to have a more Liberal (right wing) bias. Makes for good debate, I think.

I'm in the south. Most people are conservative, but my family is liberal. Southern conservatives are stubborn and give no room for debate, so it's either yell until you bash your head into a wall or just grin and bear it. Seeing as I have to pass this class to graduate and I'm waaay outnumbered, I'll stick with the second one.
