It seems strange for me to think that you're in college now...

School is good. I like my classes. I understand them all. I don't hate all the people in them and I'm not behind in anything except math and that's just me being lazy. And homecoming. :D I'm so ridiculously excited for homecoming.

Anything new? Which is pretty much everything since it's been so long since we've talked.
It is so, so weird, honestly. But quite nice -- I only have three classes this semester. Two of them are awesome, the other one is English.

Ehh... not really. I spend a lot of time sleeping. Good stuff.
...I thought you liked English. Or is it just a horrid teacher? Because those can ruin good classes.

Lucky. I seem to be getting less of that as the year goes on.
It's an online course and well... we're rehashing things I can basically do in my sleep at this point. Usually I'm all for English, but this class isn't my style. (And once again... I don't get to write my epic Frankenstein paper.)

I don't even get up in the mornings until obscenely late >.>;; College is ace.
Ah. Well, at least it's easier, even if it's horribly boring.

Nice. Weekends I don't get up until two in the afternoon. Very few exceptions to that.
If only I could remember to do anything in that class :V

The latest I can sleep is about noonish (and I'm usually up by about nine). About noon, no matter if I have class, I gotta get up and eat.

I apologize for being slightly, uh, short. I'm a little out of it, spent a lot of time this weekend researching hats and names...
Last minute BSing always works out.

I wake up a lot, but I usually just close my eyes and go back to sleep. I get like five to six hours sleep on a weekday. Weekends are my attempts to catch up.

It's a'ight. It's late and I'm a little spacey myself. Speaking of research, how's your Echo Flux rewrite going?
Yeah. I was panicking earlier because I thought I had an essay due tomorrow; turns out it's not due until the 21st. Yesss.

Lying in bed in the mornings is just perfect, even if I'm not sleeping.

I've been doing hardcore research for about the past three months, and I'm going to have a go at starting the writing in November. Considering that I've gotten to the point of picking out hats and assembling a collection of names for background characters... I think it'll go over all right.
That's so much better than thinking it was due the 21st only to find out it's due tomorrow.

True. I do that sometimes. Mainly because my family is really perky until about two in the afternoon. I don't like perky, it tends to annoy me. So I try to avoid being up before then.

It's the little things that tend to be so much fun. Like hats.
Oh yeah :D

I basically managed to set my schedule so that I get up at the only time when everyone else is either asleep or out of the house. Sweet heaven.

Yeah :3 It doesn't matter that much, but I like knowing what kind of hats everyone is wearing, or that one character keeps a big dog, or whatever.
I will love it if I can do that with my schedule when I start college.

Yeah. And hats can be very important. Like in POTC. Some of my favorite scenes from those movies involve hats. Dude, when I move out, I'm getting a big dog. Because they are wonderful.
It is the number one best thing.

Mostly I just want to make sure I'm setting a picture-perfect 1890s scene... and hell with it, I love me some hats. This dog was originally a war dog, but now he's a big house pet. Yes. I love this novel.
