You could probably just call him your boyfriend.... XD Or follow Fishy's lead and refer to him as your finacee. Or, as we've been doing, your not-quite-boyfriend. I like the first two best...

Friend. He's my friend. You can call him my, 'Special Friend,' which is what Fishy started out with.

XD Oh, come on. You know he's not just your friend. We all saw your uncertainty.

I dunno why, but Special Friend makes me think of imaginary friends. Or the really new partner of someone who is trying to explain who this random is to their young children...

I have to say I like fiance, it sounds nice, and it is still better than husband. Plus, you don't want to make him out to be some creepy guy, now do you? ^^

XD Fine. Not-quite-boyfriend. We all know Friend isn't right, love. But... I like fiance v.v And it might be close to fiance, you never know....

I still say friend... And I definitely know it's not close to fiance. We're not going to work out, but for now, I'm happy and he's happy and it works.

More than friends. How do you /know/ you're not going to work out? Maybe that wedding of yours I'm going to will be between the two of you?
