I feel the need to say, I'm never going to need to take those awful SATs.
I'm so glad. I'd freak out and study till my brains fall out.

We did Mythology Jeopardy in English today. I think I was purposefully being ignored or something (because when you make a giant list of mythological deities that half the class has never heard of, and some the teacher hasn't ever heard of, asking what defining traits each god/goddess has seems a bit easy), I ended up having to stand up on my chair and hit the wall so that the teacher would notice me. And then I got nit picked with pronunciation.

We lost. >.>

But I could give an entire biography on Ares. I'M SORRY IF I PRONOUNCE IT WEIRD.
XD They cannot handle your mythology skills. Those who cannot do, teach.
XD The teacher actually told me to go up and teach after I explained a story he hadn't heard of before. Kids in my group were all like, "YEAH GO DO IT!"

But one of the kids in the winning group gave me a dirty look.

I don't like getting dirty looks. They're rather unpleasant.
Not going to Nebraska, won't get my liscense in time for Kansas. My only hope is that I make it into NCSSM. My sanity depends on my SAT-I scores in December.

Any advice for test prep?
Study up on your math. Most of it is probably about geometry-level or lower, but study up on it to remind yourself.

Also, get some kind of practice test and... practice. Eliminate wrong answers, and if you can't do that leave it, do the rest of the problems on the page, and come back.

Oh, also, if you can chew gum during the test -- chew strong-flavored gum, such as mint, while studying and then chew that same flavor on test day. Apparently it works, and if it doesn't the mint will wake you up.

Uh... bring a watch, three pencils, a good eraser, and your own tissues... eat breakfast before... sleep a lot the night before...
The gum thing is interesting, but I don't chew gum. I've actually developed an irrational fear of it, to the point that the best way to torture me is to hold gum close to my hair. (Middle school= a nightmare once my friends figured that out.) Would, like, Jolly Ranchers work? :D?
Anything flavored, generally, as long as you associate it with the material you're studying.
Process of Elimination
Number 2 Pencils.
Follow all instructions.
If you have a question, ASK THE PROCTOR!
Briefly review your cursive.
Essay=thesis&2or3points.
If confused, skip and return to it later. You will never loose points for not answering a question, only for answering wrong.
Don't worry about getting a question or two wrong. I think the weight ratio is 1right:4wrong.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf....

Two fire drills in the same damn week, and both occurring at ten in the evening! WHY!?
Apologies, otherwise I'm actually in a pretty good mood.
Clearly the universe just hates you :\
Not the universe, just the freshmen microwaves.
