- Branagh is easily old enough to be Victor's father, which takes away from one of my favorite points of the story -- namely, that Victor is very, very young and inexperienced. If you're not paying attention, in this movie he easily looks to be in his forties.
- Some plotline fuckups, such as characters being around when they shouldn't be. However, this did go to good use.
- So... hammy... Easily the most overacted movie I have ever watched.
- Despite the ham, I was surprised: there are some genuinely good lines, and Robert De Niro totally rocked his role as, uh, the monster.
- Oh, and the makeup effects were great.
So, my friend in school fucked up his arm real bad, and can't do... certain things with his arms... for 6 months. So all the males around are taking the "Henry Ross Challenge" - to not do... you know what... for 6 months.
