One reason is capilary action. Another reason could be high pressure zones hitting all the temples simultaneously, which is possible and would make the trunk and bowl work similar to a mercury barometer.
The survival of Baiturrahim Mosque:
The mosque was over a hundred years old, which is to say that it was built of different construction materials, not the glass and plyboard that we use in modern construction. Older structures, due to this, have been proven to be sturdier and last longer.
How did the universe begin?
Science is actually pretty close to this, and in fact knows how you would go about solving it. This issue is that no one has yet been able to create a good mathematical formula that can relate quantum mechanics to general relativity, which explains how you get from something the size of a marble to something the size of the universe.
Do aliens exist?
Actually, the math gives a firm "Yes" (The Drake Equation is one example). However, the probability of one being in the neighborhood is low, so it's easy to doubt overall.
How many species live on Earth?
This isn't phrased correctly, because the number of species on the planet is constantly changing. Therefore, with the time and research, it would be possible to get a good number as to how many lived on Earth at a given moment, but a global answer is right out. less

TheMetal Ruh roh Raggy. It looks like 1More has angered the bigots with his "satan talk". He isn't saying that he has solved the questions. He is simply proposing valid arguments to these "miracles". Just because you don't understand science doesn't mean it's not true.

Science never asks for the belief of something out of nothing, that violates the first law of thermodynamics. However, if there never is a starting time, then there is no time in which something needs to be made from nothing.

It's perfectly possible that the marble was always there. After all, science accepts the possibility of an endless case. Newton's first law, for example, suggests that an object can remain still or keep moving at a constant velocity until it is altered by an outside force. If such an outside force is never applied, then the object will remain as-is. If this can be so in simple Newtonian physics, why not so in terms of application to other areas of science. Alternately, there's the theory that Universes follow a cycle of expansion and contraction which could account for there not needing to be a creative force to make a pre-universe object. less
