Finally got a good idea for this essay. Unfortunately,
but cool at the same time,this probably hasn't been thought of before, so trying to find others' arguments against it is going to be impossible.
Maybe the guy lived happily ever after because he was the bad guy, whereas the good people in all of his other stories die or go insane. That would give the story what it needs to be a traditional Poe work! :D
