One thing, and I see this often -- I didn't choose to be bi.

If I had the option -- if it really were my choice, I'd probably side with the part of me that's attracted to supermanly men and has a crush the size of Kentucky on Ahnold, because while that's geeky, that's not as socially weird as having a crush on that cute nerd girl in my math class.

Yeah, having a schoolgirly crush on the Governator is weird, but it is not as "omgickgrody" as being attracted to girls.

Two -- if I recall, there were quite a few historical situations where being gay was accepted.

Nathan - You should totally come to Sacramento ~~and visit me!~~. Not that he's ever here, contrary to what everyone seems to think, but.... there's a whole hell of a lot higher chance of him being here than in your city.
