It was awkward until we figured out that "hey, we can actually, like, dance!" and then it wasn't awkward anymore. Mostly. But I'm still a better dancer than he is. Luckily for him, he's the guy, so he doesn't really have to do anything. Also, we miraculously didn't get carded, which was wonderful.
My English teacher was a chaperon. Tyler (my date) and I have the same English class, and we're the two quiet kids in the class. First period will certainly be interesting, I expect comments from both the teacher and a few kids.
I think we had fun? I think so, anyway. So. Yeah. My night in a nutshell. How is everyone else?
Oh, how lovely. What rules were you breaking, dear, that you were worried about that?
XD Right. Plus, whenever there's a party/ dance thing, everyone analyses everything everyone was doing on Monday.
Well... It's autumn now. But we, like, don't get hail till middle of Winter. Not the very early days of March. But, meh. Meant I had a very lazy day, yours sounded like more fun.
......nothing, nothing at all. *coughs*
Actually, I'm pretty sure we didn't actually break any rules. It just depends on how loosely you interpret some words.
XD Yeah.
Same here. It keeps going between like 40 degrees and pouring rain to seventies and sunny. I prefer the latter.
Oh, that sounds like our weather. Except it's more like from 60 and raining to 90 and sunny, probably because we /did/ just come out of Summer. I also prefer the latter.
A few slang terms for types of dancing that the administration attempted to use on the "dance rules" sheet and failed so hard....
Also, part of the "don't leave and then come back" thing.
*nods* We just came out of Winter, so this isn't bad.
They tried to control what types of dances people could do? Well, that was always destined to fail.
That sounds like a rather straight forward, m'dear. How is that open to interpretation?
*nods* Although... we'd probably still be just down to 60 and raining just out of Winter, so this weather is especially weird.
...not exactly. They simply tried to control how "appropriate" the dancing was, which is understandable. I guess.
...Because, I could totally find some loophole, probably.
*nods*
*waves* Bye. I want dinner too... it's like midnight though...
*nods* That makes sense. I hope you weren't being overly inappropriate, darling. Just maybe possibly, if they followed it to the letter rather than keeping with the spirit of the law, perhaps?
....And where did you need to wander off to that requires you to find a loop hole?
You didn't eat before/ at the dance? Meh, whatever the time is, there's no point just staying hungry.
I was not being inappropriate, the rules are just too strict.
That part of the back quad that was roped off by caution tape and guarded by like six chaprons and 3 cops...
O.o Why on earth did they need that much security for one area? And why did you need to wander over there? It seems like pretty much anywhere else would've been easier.
O.O You should eat something, like right now.
Why haven't you eaten since then, may I ask? And no, drinks don't count.
