I loved it as well. I'm sad the cat didn't play a bigger role, as he is my favorite character in the book Have you seen my new FB profile picture? and original movie, but it was made up for by the hatter.
Read The Timetraveler's Wife. It's the first "romance" story I've actually found myself enjoying.
Had Science Bowl today! Out of 21 teams, we placed 4th-which I was pretty happy about. I learned a lot, got to regurgitate the knowledge I've been studying...'twas fun. And intense, too-at one point we had to do a 4-round tie breaker to decide the winner of one of the matches.
Now I've got to do some writing. Trying to ignore my cold...
Saw Avatar again, this time in 3-D. This time it actually changed my mind about two things since the last time I saw it.
1) The organisms on Pandora really weren't all that well thought out. Every other organism has a nasal passage on the torso, while the Na'avi are somehow the only species that have it in their skull.
2) 3-D isn't necessarily better. I had eye strain after 50 minutes from the movement rate. Did the same thing too much computer or TV does to you.
Talking to an old friend. Having the first real conversation we've had in a long time, with the exception of that night a week or two ago. He's okay. He's really okay. I am so happy right now. :D
