You take on the role of a canon character, or you make up your own character, and you act them out based on a story arc provided by the creator.
Whatever OP came up with.

Here:

"This RP is about a school for magical creatures, such as vampires, witches, wizards, werewolves, etc. Here they're taught magic and weaponry, etc."

So you RP about your characters going to the school.
This^^

I like to stick to fantasy ones. Especially ones with huge forms like this:

"Name:
Age:
Pet:
Weapon:
Personality:
Background story:
Extra Details:
Looks:"

On TTS, they always love to put "Looks" at the end. I always put up random pictures I stole from another RP. >.>
*can't stand TTS roleplays* >.>
Why not?
Erm, mostly the people who do them, but also because the topic is nearly always some sort of high school romance/drama. Or something Harry Potter.
O.o

You need to visit the RP section more often. Nowadays it's "Camp Half-Blood"
"____ Academy" and sometimes "La Push Wolves" or something.

And the high-school one, yes, but I rarely see any anymore. I never see Harry Potter ones, EVER, and I wish my RP's didn't die. T-T
Oh, yeah, I meant to include wolf packs. But that's still mostly high school stuff, from what I've seen.

"___ Academy" is pretty much high school, be it supernatural or not.
Well... yeah.

I like the ones where there is no romance whatsoever.

...I usually own those RP's though...
It's basically where you are controlling people in a made-up world where others control their people.

Quite simple.
I could never do it.

I like being able to edit and change things.

-Stays strictly away from those things-

Fun to read and all.
It's still possible to do so, but it involves thinking four steps ahead.
