Oh. Fun. Somehow I'm less inclined to read it now. XD

Twelve hours is simply not enough time for a book that's that big...
Catcher in the Rye was actually semi-amusing. Well, okay, so I was about ten...
I have a thing against characters who don't seem to change much over the course of a story. *hates Max for this reason* If Holden had just actually done something other than skulk I would have been happier.
To me it was entertaining because ooh hey look the fifties. As far as I cared Holden could go fuck himself and die...
I'm not sure...CitR didn't have as much of a period feel as...say... Great Gatsby. Frankly I felt that CitR could have just as easily happened today as fifty years ago.
So is Catcher in the Rye not a good book? I checked it out today(along with about 16 other books) because I'd heard good things about it.
Go ahead and read it. I quite like Salinger >.>
Mmmkay. I'll review it sometime. :P
Depends on your patience level. For me when I was reading it, the main character had just hit my "Top Ten List of Characters that Need to be Shot. Now." list.
Ah, I see.
Required viewing for life. FOR LIFE

The humping is humping. Which part don't you understand?
What the crap?
