I think everyone's here is... I have over a hundred books I should read but I don't. They just sit there...
-Cough- I downloaded them all. I have a tonne more. XD
Erm, the whole female teenage thing. Like Meg Cabot. Romance is usually kind of sub--plot kind of main plot. A lot of the time the protagonist goes through some issue and they have to get over it or whatever. Like in one the girl has troubles getting over the fact that her mother left her. Personally my favourite is The Truth About Forever. The rest that I've read are okay...
Yesh, me too. My list is longer than the days I have before school starts again, and I was hoping to get them all read this summer. XD I've actually been working through, though. *has read 17 so far*
Lucky. I'm stuck with using the library and the indie bookstore. XP
It's a good thing that I slightly detest reading books online, I suppose. XD
Ah, yeah, I think I read part of a Meg Cabot book when I was in the library off one day. It was decent. *doesn't remember the title* I haven't really been reading books like that lately, though. I've been getting stuck in the sci-fi/fantasy section. *loves*
Er... My book list is longer than my summer break and the days of school I have left. I know that for sure... That's actually kind of sad. v.v
Yeah, it beats lugging books around (I'm pretty sure that's half the reason of why I'm so short...) and my parents are very fond of not buying me books so... Plus we move a lot so all that book buying seems stupid. XDD Probably. I like it though even if I can't turn those blasted pages.
I have never actually read a Meg Cabot book. But I know the books are kind of the same genre. I hear they're pretty good though. XDD I like anything adventurous. I stay away from cheesy fantasy though... I had this phase in third grade... -shudders- Never again.
I think my summer one is around 120 books. We get *counts* 90-some days off. Nah, it just means you like reading. XD
My parents buy me food, underwear, and other such necessities. All other clothes, books, and random things, I buy myself. It's a bit of an annoying arrangement, but it works well enough.
You move a lot? *has never moved* That doesn't sound fun...
*loves tangible books* *loves the smell of books* >.>
XD What did you read? I'm not exactly proud of my previous reading choices, but my bookshelf is getting cleaned out and refilled pretty rapidly, which makes me happy. :D
Mine kind of have the same arrangement. Only they'll occasionally buy me frivolous things like books and nail polish and such. Yeah about every 3-5 years, it's about time now actually. Unless we count switching houses across the street... So far I've moved four times. Not fun.
Uh, can't remember but it was really clichéd and horrid and another was about like mermaids and another about like magic unicorns or something so yeah... Never again.
O.o June 29th is last day of school. It's a half day. Then we go back in usually late August or early September. Usually before Labor Day. But yeah... we get an awful lot of PD days and such.
Oh yeah. Usually to another city, this last one wasn't very far but before it was from the middle of the country to the coast.
Yeah PD day is basically no school for the students but the staff have to go to workshops or something of the likes. It stands for like Professional Development Day.
East. Halifax, Nova Scota, aka crappy town with a horrid university and no where decent to go. Whee. I've been to BC, I rather liked it. My grandparents live there. And I'm going to Ontario (where Niagra Falls is, do you know which side you were on? Canadian or American?) this summer and probably Christmas. I thought Banff was in Alberta...
Oh we had the entire series and then didn't... I haven't read them in ages but it was the only book my older sister would touch. XDD
Yeah, that's what I thought. Not the specifics, but yeah.
Isn't Nova Scotia supposed to be beautiful? >.>
I'm planning on going somewhere far, far away for college. I love traveling, and there is no way I'm sticking around in this dryness for much longer. I love the mountains, but I love water more. v.v
Er, I think we went on both. Took the ferry or something.
Meh, it probably is. *bad with geography, even worse when it's not American* I know we went to both, though...
XD I haven't either. I was recently reminded how epic they were by TV Tropes. Maybe I'll add them to my reading list. XD
I only learned the specifics this year. XDD I've had them for ten.
Apparently... I think it's a crappy place that's really annoying and downtown smells of fish (well it's the harbor but still) which is gross. Plus we have so many haunted places it's not even funny anymore. I mean really now.
I'm hoping to go to Toronto. Good schooling, good zoology program. Plus there's a zoo I can intern at. I hate the water. Bad experiences by it make me less than happy to go near it...
XD My American geography sucks, my Canadian one is okay. My world one is alright I suppose. And yes, it is Alberta.
