I could be applying to colleges this fall, like the rest of my friends. Or I could be, say, doing the homework I owe it to other people to do. Instead guess what I'm doing? Still chasing after what I used to have in fandom: someone, anyone, who'll pretend to listen.
Hi. My name is Nathan. I blew the most significant years of my life on something that no longer matters: trying to keep up with a group of people who, in the end, didn't want me. So now I don't have that to fall back on, even.
Maybe "I have no life" wasn't the right way to express the sentiment -- something more along the lines of "more and more, I wish I were dead".
