I've seen fireflies once in my life -- summer after sixth grade, we went to Washington DC.
We were there with a good part of my sixth grade class, so one night... cue a bunch of twelve-year-olds freaking out. (At least one of the kids had never left the state before, which blew my mind.)

If my friend pays me ten bucks I'll go to the semi and speak Chinese all night.
It's actually a ploy to get her to go (in pajamas or whatever the hell she feels comfortable with) but yeah, it'll be funny. Especially since I don't think anyone will understand me.
