Speaking of Haiti -- the goddamn cruise ship I was on stopped at a private island off of Haiti. I spent most of the time we were there looking over at the rest of Haiti and wishing I could be there instead, doing something to help.

Yeah I getcha...that's partly why I'm doing this...to help out but also because I just need a break from life in America sometimes...I spent like a month in Belize and it really felt like, if not home, then a place where I lived instead of merely visiting, and I think it was easier in many ways to cope there than in America.

No, it really wasn't that bad...it just sounds like I'm complaining about it just because those are the details that impress the most people.

 

Anyway anything interesting happen in the long absence?

XD They are rather impressive. All I did during the summer as an amazing feat was manage to stay sane while dealing with my sister for almost 24 hours everyday. 

 

UH... Just ARG I think, which you've seen. Nothing terribly interesting I don't think.

speaking of the ARG I just remembered something like that happening to me once. I got an official-looking "register for an aperture science experiment" form slipped in my binder...it promised cake. I still have no idea where it came from.

I can't remember what, but the nerds in my Comp Sci class keep saying, "THE CAKE IS A LIE" and it used to be funny for me (I actually chuckled) but it got annoying a week in. Because you don't actually get cake...

 

Ask Tally or Devil's (Patrk) either one of them should know since it was a joke between them and a couple others who slip my mind at the moment.
