We kept joking that Patterson had it in mind, but this is the first time on the site that we've ever really taken the idea of an Itex-Nazi conspiracy seriously (oxymoron?) so it generates some really wild discussion.

But if this is still the topic of focus into week 2, then I'll jump in and say "Hey, people, enough with the Nazis already."

Also, would you kindly correct Meep c/o me on what caused the Nazi takeover of Germany: they were in the right place at the right time with a strong political strategy. Germany wanted to believe it was special and worth believing in. The Nazi party gave Germany a way to achieve that.
