@Fate: The SAT Reasoning Test (SAT supposedly standing for Scholastic Aptitude/Assessemnt Test) is something that, In my state at least, you have to schedule. It is the single most important non-college test that you will take in your whole life. When colleges look at you, they look at three things: your grades, your SAT score, and to a lesser degree your extracurriculars (No, leading revolutions on MDW is not recognized by the college board). In short, you could have all A's for every year of high school, but if you get a 200 on the SAT's all those As won't matter for squat (Note, the SATs are either out of 1600 or 2400 depending on what the colleges do or don't decide to grade)
The SAT itself is not (in my opinion) a hard test, it's just EXTREMELY tedious.
Leading revolutions on MDW isn't recognized by the college board? What? Well, I guess my school will have to settle for GSA and WBH then.... but this is a VERY cool extra-curricular, they're missing out....
Being all holy fuck this is a lot of work, and actually planning on doing it for once because I feel like I owe it to the people who still haven't completely given up on me.
I feel your pain. I have to analyze "The Prince" by next Thursday, and have a loooong debate to prep for. -_- I HATE this topic, and I'm never doing LD again. I've wasted my entire three-day weekend working on it, and I'm barely started.
I managed to get all my teachers to give me extra time on the makeup work, because I spent all Sunday online instead of doing it. >.>
But now I have to do all of last week's homework tonight. And I don't even understand half of it.
