I just got back from my first solo gig, ever, with my guitar! I'm very tired, but happy. It turned out relatively well, I think. I made 66 dollars in tip money. It was all family, except for the drunk guy at the bar who came in halfway through... No friends showed, but eh. The guy who set up the mics and helped during the sound check told me that if we called next time we came into town he would get me some studio time! Very excited about that!

 

Just thought I'd let ya'll know. :3 We might post some of the songs from the performance on Youtube in the next couple of weeks; I'll let ya'll know if we do.

Haha, I know how it feels. ^-^ That, and trying to get noticed for a talent. XD It's difficult to get attention, but exciting when somebody actually does notice. :D

So, while others may know what you play, can you tell me a bit about what kind of guitar (acoustic, classical, electric) and what kind of music & gig you did.

I'm home for the week, up north a little.

 

It started snowing about half an hour ago. It never snows here. EVER. I'm kinda freaking out a little.

We got about a centimetre. So no shovelling. Lost power though, up until about 15mins ago.
