I take it back, I hate couponing now. I don't understand. We spend so much money on gas/eating out for crap we don't need? We don't even OWN a cat, why would we need Meow Mix?

My parents have gone insane for coupons. >.>
It started the other day with FREE Aspirin. So we went to every single place that sells Aspirin and bought a shit tonne. We spent the entire day doing that. I thought it would only be you know, a weekly thing or something. Apparently not.
We are now getting a bunch of useless shit. We have so much paper towel and toilet paper, we have to store it in the car. And I don't know why we have Meow Mix, you know that cat food thing. We don't own a cat...

Okay nevermind.
Apparently we get Shoppers Optimum Points for paying tax for the stuff we get free. So the 'rents logic is: free stuff from Shoppers (doesn't matter what it is) = Points = More free stuff we don't have coupons for.
This is how hoarding starts guys. I don't have the heart to point out to them we also buy from Wal-Mart and London Drugs all the time too.
