I love catching film editors in the act!
Watch this 1 Minute clip from the next Doctor Who Episode:

Now, you will notice that they transition from the Tardis (spaceship) set to the airplane set in seemingly one fluid move. Points to the person who can point out when the set transition occurs.

(Hint, it's in the first 20 seconds)

Dickin' around waiting for Bioshock Infinite to download.

oh man oh man oh man

I finished it already. Mind = blown. Best story since Alan Wake and Journey.

...ya'll dead or something?

Alive and kicking. First day of spring break for me.

Nope! Just so busy. :V End of spring break for me lololol.

Nope. But I do have:

  • A 30 page, 1 act play.
  • A 20 page research paper.
  • 7-10 pages of Anthology commentary
  • An unknown number of writing reviews and possibly other work.

And it's all due in six weeks, and if any one of these things is below an A, it could drop me from Magna Cum Laude to Cum Laude.

I've been really busy being dead.

No but I spent the week playing Bioshock and sleeping -- and now I'm back to classes in time for the uphill slope to finals.

Word to the wise: do not take three history classes in the same semester. Just don't do it.

So, update on life.

Didn't get in to Governor's School. Made a 1875 on my SAT. Disappointment abound. But I made a 32 on my ACT, and that's not too bad, I guess.

I met Maureen Johnson on March 2nd, which was INCREDIBLE. She and Stephanie Perkins were both hilarious, and Maureen signed my copies of Paper Towns and An Abundance of Katherines as "The Real John Greeeeen." (She told me the extra ee's were for copyright reasons.) Those were my only unsigned John Green books, so now I have a somewhat complete set. They both loved my hair, which was so exciting. I walked around in a haze for the rest of the day, completely stunned that two of my favorite novelists complemented ME.

Today is my best friend's 17th birthday. I'm so glad she made it to see 17. For a while there the outlook wasn't very positive. Also, my 17th is on the 4th yeee less than a week.

I hit 25 followers on tumblr, which was pretty exciting for me.

Yesterday my choral group went to Solo/Small Ensemble and got a superior, and we had a riff-off on the bus all the way back, which was one of the coolest things I've done in a while. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Thankfully, no one actually tried to use the riff-off sequence from Pitch Perfect.

So, long story short. I hit a slum. For a long time. Most days are still pretty rough. But I'm getting a better gradually.

Panicking a little. >.> All of spring break was spent hanging with friends or working and now I have all this homework to deal with and I don't want to.

And I'm kinda pissed at my friend because she hasn't done shit all for this conference yet and there's still so much to do ugh. Plus I kinda fucked up something on the forms but I told her to double check it and she said she did, when she clearly didn't if she didn't notice a mistake as obvious as that. >.>

And I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with my life but apparently I'm supposed to know that but I'm 17. I just don't know. And I feel like if I apply for any scholarships my application is crap so why bother and ugh. I just want to sit down and read John Green books. :V

Also changed my tumblr and instagram u/n because paranoia. :| Siblings are assholes and good u/ns come and go I guess. >.>

On the bright side I met this really cool guy who loves Pokemon as much as I do. :D

And I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with my life but apparently I'm supposed to know that but I'm 17. I just don't know.

Don't worry about it. There are 30-year-olds asking the same question. Heck, my life plans got torpedoed when I was 18, it happens to everyone, and there's no shame in it. Don't worry about what you want to do, just focus on doing everything well, and what you ought to be doing will rise to the top automatically.

I guess it just feels like all my friends have direction (seriously, like ALL of them have an idea of what they want to do and I'm sitting here like, "well I don't like Physics so no Engineering for me and I'd probably have a mental breakdown in the Sciences...") but then didn't you say you wanted to do something Aerospace related or what not? XD And now you're an English major so well, that's relieving a bit. And our school counselors are utterly useless for anything other than sending out scholarship applications.

Thanks End. :)
