I'm just not fond of the age difference. 12 and 14? And it doesn't help that my views on dating. . . greatly differ from hers. Especially as I don't really see the need for a 12yo to date.
Even if she is almost 13, now.
I can't stand the preps my sister chooses as friends, though, which too, puts me more on edge. -

That's one thing that, too, kinda bugs me, I don't know anything about what's normal in this sense, having not gone through it myself, and in some cases my friends are more of a big sister than I am. They'll scold her and she'll listen too. xD -

See, I sorta kinda dated at 13, but..... it wasn't normal. Me and Colby, were really close friends before we ever "dated," and really, not that much changed. Other than his obsession with compliments, but that's another story entirely. >.> And we're still close friends now. That, combined with the fact that I scared the shit out of him, so I didn't have to worry about anything that most girls worry about. My parents didn't care, either, because THEY knew that he was scared of me, too.
So I can't really help you with "what's normal." -

And Lamp, depending on what time of year it is, I'm sometimes just as close in age to your sister as I am to you. Right now I'm two years older than her, but last year, I was only a year older, so I assume her birthday is before mine? -
