XD Maybe the first part has a cutesy, fluff bit and then it takes a spin on a dark edgy kidnapping? Before returning to the cutesy fluff bits.

Fluff. My story needs fluff. But.... I'm right in the middle of plot now. Like, right in the middle, of something crucial to the entire story. But I want to cut that short and write pointless fluff now.....

"Toss a bit of fluff into the plot for flavor, and let it simmer for a few minutes before dumping in the rest of the ingredients. Make sure that too much fluff is not added, or much of the plot may be overpowered."
