Yes.
Northern and Eastern Washington, especially.

I live in the middle, on the coast. Like literally on the coast. I have a 5min drive to three different beaches. And the coast protects us from that.
*wants to live on a beach*

Yes, I live in CA and I don't live on the beach. Be amazed.
@Lamp:Well at least you have beaches during the summer. I'm going to assume the water is actually clear.

@Fishy: XD Living in CA with no beaches. Isn't that your stereotype though?
*nods*
The water of the Sound never gets about 60, too, usually it's 40something, which is very refreshing to swim in. Especially in April and November. ^^
It's cold.... *swam in something, in WA, because somebody dared me to* The water was almost freezing temperature....

Xuut - Yes, yes it is.... One good thing about where I live, is that even though there's nothing here, we're two hours away from really nice beaches in one direction, two hours from Nevada in the other direction, two hours from the mountains in the other direction, and finally, two hours from San Fransisco. So we're close to nearly everything.
@Lamp: Jesus! Forty degrees? I mean it must be nice in the cold but good lord.

@Fishy: The car rides must be terribly boring though.
...So, I went and bought chocolate...
*laughs
What kind?
A block of Whittaker's Milk Caramel and a snickers bar.
The caramel bar sounds good. I dislike snickers.
I like the nougat. A lot.

The milk caramel was on cheap, so meh.
