It's not exactly my taste in music, but I was sniffling by the end. "In a window back home, a blue / Star is traded for gold" was like... the ending of fucking Titanic for sheer tear value. Especially because I know full well what he means by it, and I have my doubts that most people listening hear it as anything but catchy lyrics.
