....My... poetry or rather poem...

So, usually I never write poetry, I just can't write it.

It all turns out terrible and is my weakest point in Language Arts, it usually ends up like this:

I have a cat,
Who owns a bat,
And a top hat,
My cat,
Beat her top hat,
With her blue bat,
And now my cat,
Has no bat,
Or top hat.

I kid you not, this was (I think) one of the practice poems for couplets or which ever ones rhyme. Either way it was the best I could come up with.

So here is my poem I wrote today and it doesn't seem bad...

Flawless Rose
Xuut

A flawless rose is hard to find,
A thing that is just so divine,

This rose that we all seek,
May be hidden and in disguise,

And we all search for the rose,
For who wouldn't want something,

So beautiful and bold,

Our arms and legs may become wary,
While we search for that rose,

And sometimes our hearts turn cold,
Strong legs become weak, arms become sore,

The search has ceased,

Faith in the rose is gone, and,
We stop searching for that flower,

For we know it will never become ours,

But there are some of us may never stop,
Our arms never sore and legs never tire,

No matter how far we walk,
Or how high we climb,

Our search goes on,

For we have faith in that rose,
In the flower we all know,

And inside we all learn,
The rose we've been searching for,

Was right inside us the whole time,
For we were that flawless rose,

So beautiful and bold.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I wrote it to be honest....

I've tried poems before, you know ones with like, rhyme schemes and syllables and can never actually make something decent.

The cat one was fun, but sort of not what the teacher wanted. XD

The cat one was an epic win. xD The second one was amazing. I love it. :) You may have said "rose" too many times, though...but whatever, it's still awesome.
