[Edited Because I Fracking Can]

Welcome to the Secret Confessions thread. Beyond the pure anonymity of the internet, there lies a certain level of understanding behind all the accounts here on FF. The SC account carries burden of allowing the user to give a candid, private confession with (hopefully) understanding feedback. The SC thread is for other posters to give kind and/or helpful advice, words of empathy, or a secret of their own (under the SC name or not).

This account is a group account, and EVERYONE needs to treat it respectfully. By posting under the Secret Confessor, you are pledging to refrain from hate mail, "finger-pointing", insulting and being a jerkface. By posting in the SC thread, you are pledging to keep the comments respectful. This has not yet been a problem, but it's nice to have written down "just in case".

If you would like to use the SC account for ANY reason beside posting in this thread, please PM me- even if it's under the SC name (this is not to exert authority, but to maintain order over a very accessible account).

Thank you!

Is this aimed at us or at life in general?

Because I'll understand if it's at us...

*fortunate to be comfortable with herself, socially*
^^^ This.

Except I don't think anyone here is really guilty of it....
No non non! Not at anyone HERE, at some people I know that bother me >.> Sorry, that was unclear. They constantly gripe about how everyone's like a clone, except for THEM, and how awesome they are for not being like everyone else.
I never thought I'd be thankful to be on my period... V.V >.>
Whatatatat? O.o

Why on earth could you be thankful? Unless it's from getting a free ticket to mouth off to your mother...
I should have picked up on that... Considering my friend went through the same thing.

I like myself way better online than in real life. I try not to act differently, but I do.
Same. I'm pretty much exactly the same IRL which is probably why some people don't like me, come to think of it.

@SC - That's understandable. And it's okay. Being online is easier, it makes sense why you'd act different IRL. So long as you're not intentionally changing yourself to make online people -- or IRL people, for that matter -- like you more when you're not really being yourself, there's nothing wrong with that. It's still you, and we still love you no matter what, okay?
Heh, me too.
Well, I feel like I'm a shitty friend either way so...

It's not your fault if you're a better person online. It's easier. You aren't face to face with people, and onliners are generally just less annoying, so you have no reason to be a *insert swear of your choice* to onliners... And yeah.. *is not being helpful*

*hugs*
It's not just that I'm nicer. If anything, I'm "nicer" in real life because I'm more cautious about my words. It's just so much easier to be friendly and not socially awkward here. Thanks though. The feeling of being cared about is so nice.
