Leaving

I'm leaving here, again. No worries, this time I won't be deleting my account, I don't think anything could come out of that other than the site would lose a few thousand posts.

Fact of the matter is, I'm not happy here, anymore. Or in general, I guess. The site seemingly hasn't been the 'safe place away' for a good while and the former home is only depressing me further.

I said earlier I'd left all other fandoms/fandom-based-sites, pretty much, other than this one. When really, there wasn't anything to justifying staying, only leaving sooner. Those whom I care about/respect(ed) have long since left and/or this site is irrelevant to our communications. I feel like this site has nothing left to offer, anymore, and my heart's just not in it. Nor will it matter to the site/anyone should I leave.

Last, I know when others talk of leaving, several of us wish everything goes well so that they might return to us. Ideally, I won't actually be coming back. I'm sick of what this site and I, both, have turned into. I'm tired of feeling depressed with this site being a contributing factor of that. I might post every now and again, just to make sure everyone's alive and well, but otherwise I won't be following the site or lurking. That being said I will be checking PMs and whatnot until this site dies.

I'm sorry that this site depresses you, and I do hope that leaving this site might help you feel better. I suppose I don't frequently talk to you, but every now and again I'll PM and see how you're doing. Perhaps email if I can ever learn to be good with checking it.
