Well, there they seem to be discouraged as squeeing, can get out of control and lead to bans, or are ignored entirely.
Here on the other hand squeeing is lightly laughed at, cursing won't get you thrown out, and I have yet to see a single emotional post after which there wasn't another post in which someone was offering tea or a hug.

True, true, and true. But that's because tea and hugs are amazing, and the majority of members here have at least one close friend who's also here.

And appositives must be set apart by commas. Or I am likely to be grieving over the loss for quite some time. I'm sorry, appositives are fabulous. Don't be ashamed and try to cover them up. LET YOUR APPOSITIVES SHINE FREELY!!
