So if what NOAA's telling me is correct, you're in either Colorado or Kansas. It's also telling me that you are in danger of tennis-ball sized hail. PSU however tells me that the chance of you seeing hail of that size, or at all, is low, but it does concur that this shitstorm won't be letting up until late Thursday.
I hope you won't be stuck in school, but I've never lived in an area with a tornado threat, so I don't know what you folks's travel tolerances are.
Only when talking about extreme weather, or something of an equal level of awesome. If you could see what I'm seeing on these meteo maps with the same amount of appreciation as I, you might be swearing too.
I mean, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and tennis-ball-sized hail is awesome to me. Must be scary as heck, but still awesome.
UPDATE: so, apparently, the tornado is headed vaguely northeast and we're northwest. So we were allowed to leave when the bell rang. And I'm less freaked out than I was, but not alltogether reassured.
What's really cool is when you have a tornado at 5:30 AM so you pretty much sleep through it, but it knocks out all of the power at your school so you don't have to go that day. :D This happened at my school also this year, on my birthday. :D
OK, so far, I have from left to right: Nathan (wearing green, is that okay?), a table holding a goldfish bowl, Tally, me, a lamp post (holding the place where Lamp will be), and EndOf (kind of hiding, peeking from behind a book). :D Might be able to hold a couple more avvie pics, but not full people. I will put everyone in the bigger drawing when I have time though!
