We don't celebrate Guy Fawkes day here, in fact no one's even heard of it, really.
Red Nose Day is, too. . . non-existent.
Oh. *thought that Guy Fawkes was trying to burn down American parliament*

Those poor SIDS babies, with no one to try and save them in America.
People in America don't say those things...
No one ever slips up and says Happy Christmas?
No, you sound really weird if you say that. It's always Merry Christmas. It's just automatic...
*nods*
It always seems to catch everyone's attention if you DO slip and say 'Happy Christmas'
-Remembers when she was little she called Hermione Granger weird for saying "Happy Christmas"-
We say Merry Christmas too, but no one thinks it's odd when you use Happy Christmas instead. I didn't even realise that one was British, the other American.
XD I've never heard anyone without a British accent say Happy Christmas before...
XD I did it last year during November and everyone was all, "O.o You're a dumbass." You might want to explain it

I'm SO happy we finally get it off. Usually we loose Fridays.
XD Naw, they'll just look at me like I've lost it. . . which happens more often than not, actually.
XD I just get "I thought you were /smart/" and several "I'm disappointed in you"'s. I occasionally get weird looks. -Is weird-
