Maryland. We're getting the remnants of that storm Ida. It's not to bad, just kind of scary with flood watches everywhere and the creepy gusts of wind.
You know, gusts of wind are WAY higher than that for hurricanes. Level one is like 74-95 mph so really this isn't so bad once you think about it...
Tuesday and Wednesday we had pouring rain for the solid 48 hours from Ida. The lake (which is down the street from us) is usually almost bare. I mean, the docks are held up on sticks two yards above the water, but now the docks are just about touching the water. (South Carolina. XP)
After Halloween and until mid-May, it's fair game for snow. Although we got snow before Halloween this year, which was heavily weird.
I hate when people say 'omg i want ur snow'. No, you don't. I don't like skiing, shoveling is horrible, and generally it is absolutely not as fun as it looks.
Also I'm a little bitter.

D: I want snow.
For Christ sakes this is CANADA! It's what we're know for! Why. Don't. I. Have. Snow?!
God, I hate the East Coast.
Edit: Yes, Nathan I really do want your snow. I WANT to shovel it, I want to roll around in it, and want to make snowmen eating each other with it. I don't know how to ski so that doesn't apply to me.
