*hugs also* I was like that about a month ago. >.> Honestly, in some ways it was better then, because I actually had this thing called "free time..." Now I'm busybusybusy. 'Tis quite annoying, actually.
So I went shopping in Folsom with my mother yesterday, and after buying some new pants (desperately needed) we go to borders, because I have like 3 gift cards left over from my Birthday that I never spent. I'm browsing through the bargain books, then the sci-fi, and I end up in the YA section (also know nowadays as the vampire section *barf*). And then, I see it, there's a display of James Patterson's young adult books, MR, Daniel X, Witch and Wizard (*more barf*), and I see the title of the display above it Freadom. Yes sir or ma'am they are marketing JP's books with freedom. You can't imagine the odd looks I get as I stand there laughing hysterically at that display...
I was in B&N today, and decided to check inside the cover of TAE to see what website was there. The MDW url is in the new prints of all of the books.... my first three have the Blogspot url.... It was mildly depressing. Also, if you're looking at W&W with some appalled and slightly upset facial expression, it is not the time for an old friend to run up and hug you.
Ha, I want to go through all of them with a pen and black out the URL, then write above it this URL. Ha, my Mom thought I was crazy when she saw me laughing at a display of books, but thankfully she didn't hug me >.>
I desperately want to check out one of the MR books from the library and leave a note with directions instructing them to come here and tell us how they found it.
Were you there, when we had the conversation about writing our MX u/n's in the books next to the link? That wouldn't work anymore, sadly.
O.O Ohmigosh, That makes my want to get the copy of AE from the Jackson library (That was the 1st one I read) It's horribly smelly, but worth it just to see if anyone follows the note.
