So, you all know that I was pushing the E-cigarette legislation.

Well, there's a youth network I'm affiliated with that I've been working on E-cigarette advocacy projects with.

The adviser told me that I'm not allowed to testify at the Senate hearing about E-cigarettes, because "it wouldn't be fair to anyone else."

Sure. I mean, I'm only guiding the project, have experience with testifying, and was interviewed by the AP on this topic.

And I, ya know, am using this project to apply for an advocacy award.

~~I just...don't want this legislation to be fucked up. And the people who want to testify have no idea what the hell they're doing...~~

I know I shouldn't be annoyed by this, but...this project is like my child. And that adviser works with the affiliated group, and likes to think that she owns me, which is a bit irritating...
They only talk to me when they need to portray to others the "model advocate". I'm trying to help you guys, stop fucking showing me off then shoving me aside. >.>

This year's weather here has been seriously screwed. We didn't get snow until five days before Christmas, it all melted on like Boxing Day, then we've had a lot of snow, melt, snow, melt, etc. Then in late February we didn't have any snow at all and it's all gone. April so far looks like May.
