Found the assignment for my four-page essay on globalization, culture change, and being an evil overlord.
On the downside, it's one a.m. and I was literally going to bed as I found the assignment.
On the upside, I have the opportunity to be graded on setting out the... thesis statement, if you will, of the culture described in my epicass trilogy. I get to make a case for a steampunk culture. Or something very similar.
In addition, tumblr thinks the world is ending because of North Korea, and more people than I thought think peak oil is gonna end it all.
I am going to quit writing depressing shit, swear to God :| It's not as fuckin weird if things 'come true' for me when they're happy shit like 'la la hug monster' or 'kittens' or some shit.
tl;dr I am crazy oh fuck everyone get in yo bunkers
So, I was freaking out about my essay because I didn't work out farther than thesis, topic sentences, and quotes. This morning, and during creative writing, I managed to figure through my first body paragraph with decent analysis.
I was supposed to turn my rough draft in to my teacher today, and conference with her about it.
We talked about my thesis and first body, she said it had great analysis and only a few minor style errors. She also said that, if necessary, I could write over the five page maximum she's tentatively imposed on the rest of the class, because she's sure I can keep up good organization and not be redundant with the points I'm bringing up. Then she said I didn't have to turn in my rough draft.
Ok, it's freaking me out that pretty much everybody I know has randomly commented on how jumpy I've been lately. Holy snap, what if I have a mental disorder?
I hate when all Monday I'm looking forward to Monday night and then I'm all "oh yeah, Glee isn't until tomorrow night..."
This year-my first year with an Xbox 360-I bought a copy of Bayonetta, Darksiders, Mass Effect, Prototype, DmC 4, Bioshock, Oblivion 4 (Awful game) and Final Fantasy 13 (Meh game.)
Total cost of everything new: 60x8=480 dollars.
What I payed for it: Less than 100 dollars.
Fuck yes.
I know that spending near a hundred dollars on games isn't a good use of time, but...seriously. I kick shopping ass.
Not really something to brag about, but I digress.
Edit: Woops. Forgot assassins creed II and Force Unleashed II. That's 500 dollars savings, kids.
